On Friday 2021/04/06, the Fifth Online Working Meeting of the partners of the University-industry educational Centre in advanced Biomedical and Medical Informatics (CeBMI) project No. 612462-EPP-1-2019-1-SK-EPPKA2-KA was organized. This meeting was a continuation of the Fourth Online Working Meeting from Friday 2021/03/05.
During the meeting:
- The preparation of the progress report for EACEA was discussed (WP 2);
- new features in the CeBMI portal were presented (WP 3);
- current state of the development of teaching materials for the CeBMI portal was presented by each partner (WP 3);
- online guest lectures from the first half of year 2021 were summarized (WP 4);
- results of the second self-evaluation of the CeBMI project organized in May 2021 were presented and discussed (WP 6);
- details about organization of International Workshop on Biomedical Technologies on June 22nd – 24th, 2021 were discussed (WP 7).
In the first half of year 2021, the following online guest lectures were delivered with support of the CeBMI project:
- 2021/04/07 – Peter Milovcik (Siemens Healthineers, Slovakia): Software Testing for students of Faculty of Management Science and Informatics of University of Zilina (Slovakia);
- 2021/04/14 – Adela Vrtkova (University of Ostrava, Czech Republic): Biomedical data analysis – white or black magic? for students of Faculty of Management Science and Informatics of University of Zilina (Slovakia);
- 2021/04/26 – Anton Kovac (Siemens Healthineers, Slovakia): Data Mining in Healthcare for students of Faculty of Management Science and Informatics of University of Zilina (Slovakia);
- 2021/05/10 – Ah-Lian Kor (Leeds Beckett University, UK): Deep Learning for students of Faculty of Management Science and Informatics of University of Zilina (Slovakia);
- 2021/05/17 – Olga Thanou (TELESIG, Bulgaria): Behavioral Biometrics for students of Faculty of Management Science and Informatics of University of Zilina (Slovakia).
At the end of the first half of year 2021, the following online guest lecture was organized:
- 2021/06/21 – Cristina Soguero (Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain): Data-driven models to extract knowledge from electronic health records for students of University Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (Italy).
